SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE CAMRA PUB OF THE YEAR 2018!
Our local branch of the Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) has voted The Flowing Spring Pub of the Year. This is an immense achievement of which we are truly proud, having purchased the pub from Fuller's last summer. A presentation will be taking place in late March to celebrate the award.
We have been listed in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for six years running, including the 2018 edition, and we are proud to be Cask Marque accredited for three years running with 100% marks for the clarity, colour, taste and temperature of our ales. And we were voted South Oxfordshire CAMRA Pub of the Season (Summer 2017).
The Flowing Spring became a Free House on 30 June 2017. As a Free House we have the freedom to stock a whole range of drinks to satisfy everyone, including those with dietary needs and preferences, just as we do when designing our meals. And, as a destination pub, with most customers taking the trouble to drive here, we think it’s right to offer a comprehensive range of alcohol-free drinks, including ales, lagers and ciders.
Our drinks information below features similar symbols to those on our food menus, with G denoting gluten-free and VN denoting vegan (also suitable for vegetarians, of course). We have also added A to denote low alcohol or alcohol-free content.
We usually stock Fuller’s London Pride as our permanent premium beer and Fuller’s ESB as our permanent strong one. The other beers constantly change, with at least one session ale (under 4.0%), one other premium (4.0-4.5%) plus one or 2 pumps featuring our special choice.
Please note cask ales are neither gluten-free nor vegan
In addition to the list below, we feature two Real Ciders which change frequently and well worth a try.
