We have been supporting live music at The Flowing Spring for over eleven years, staging bands from a wide range of genres, from country to blues to jazz, big band, rock and folk. We put on performances on stage in the garden playing out to up to 200 people. And with our own PA systems, lighting, 24 channel desk and in-house sound engineer, and access to larger sound equipment and top engineers, we're fully prepared to put on the best quality gigs.
On this page we look back at some of the many acts we've had the pleasure of hosting. To find out what's coming up and to buy tickets,

OUR QUIRKY CORNER UNPLUGGED NIGHTS
We began our Acoustic Nights back in January 2014.
The format is simple. Anyone can come along and perform, with or without instruments but with one rule: no plugging in!
We have hosted hundreds of people of different musical genres, of different abilities and with different instruments - and some simply reciting prose and poetry. It's been wonderful.
Our Unplugged Nights usually takeg place in the cosy bar on the first Tuesday of every month. It's a wonderfully intimate setting with bags of support and good humour. It's called Quirky Corner Night because that's where it all started: in our Quirky Corner. But it outgrew the space within a month!
In the summer months, if the weather is kind, we move it outdoors with a couple of ambient mics to project the acoustic sounds.
If you'd like to come along and perform go to the Quirky Corner facebook page and send a message to Mike Tuffery who manages the event for us.
If you wish to eat while you're here, please call us at the pub and book a table as it can get busy.
Check out our Sing-along-a-Nick band for great fun singalong nights, perfect for all sorts of occasions. Click here!
